FLY NEIGHBOURLY

AUSTRALIAN AVIATION LAW

FlyBlue Aviation is committed to following the rule of Australian civil aviation law.

The law attests that helicopter pilots must not fly lower than 1000 feet over populated areas and 500 feet over other areas (except in cases of flying at a designated altitude in an approved access lane, or in emergency cases of bad weather).

When safe to do so, FlyBlue flights generally fly at around 2000 feet above the ground, to minimise noise and provide the best view for customers.

FlyBlue’s flight paths are designed in collaboration with, and approved by, NSW National Parks to ensure the least noise impact upon the local community and environment. All our helicopters have a unique identifying number clearly visible on the underside of the craft, and we encourage community members to get in touch with any concerns about flights and noise impact.
